Cellaret of Sarcophagus Form

Mahogany, mahogany veneers, ebony, pine and brass

All panels are veneered with crotch mahogany, bordered with mahogany cross banding, ebony inlay and ebonised moldings. The bottom edge is finished with triple beaded ebony moldings. The case rest on carved paw feet with hidden casters. The interior is zinc lined. The secondary woods are mahogany and pine. The craftsmanship and materials used for this object are of the highest quality.
Condition:
The cellaret is in excellent condition. It retains its original brass handles, casters. There is evidence of the drain on the bottom of the cellaret but the tap is missing. It has some minor scratches and nicks from normal use.
